1. Purpose & Definitions

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the STA suite (the “Services”) operated by STA (the “Company”, “we”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Definitions

  • Services — the mobile and web applications operated by the Company: the all-in-one STA app (calendar, mail, memo, tasks) and the standalone web survey SaaS Stats, plus related integrations.
  • Member / you — any person who has agreed to these Terms and uses the Services.
  • Premium / paid plan — any service that is provided for a fee.
  • Team workspace — a workspace where an administrator purchases seats and grants access to other Members.
  • Content — any data you upload, store, or transmit through the Services (mail, notes, events, surveys, attachments, etc.).

2. The Services

STA consists of one unified app and one standalone web SaaS:

  • STA (all-in-one app) — calendar, mail (unified inbox, AI replies), memo (infinite canvas, AI search), and tasks — one app, one account on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows.
  • STA account · built-in mail & messenger — signing up for an STA account creates an id@sta-suite.com address. Messages between STA users are free in-app DMs; communication with external addresses is by email. Built-in mail/messenger is used only through the STA app (no external IMAP/SMTP). Certain IDs (admin, role, brand-impersonation, etc.) are reserved and cannot be registered.
  • Stats (Web surveys) — separate web SaaS at stats.sta-suite.com. AI question generation, multi-language translation, response analytics.

Free and paid plans are described on /pricing. The Company may offer features in “beta” status; beta features are provided without availability or stability guarantees.

3. Account

3.1 Registration

You may register by accepting these Terms and our Privacy Policy and completing the form provided. Children under 14 require verified consent from a legal guardian.

3.2 Account security

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password.
  • You may not transfer, lend or share your account with anyone else.
  • You must notify us immediately if you discover unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Refusal and termination by the Company

We may refuse registration or terminate an account for (i) false information, (ii) violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (iii) fraudulent intent.

3.4 Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or at /account/delete on the web. Content is deleted immediately; certain records are retained for the periods required by law, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Fees & Billing

4.1 Fees

Paid plans and their prices are published on /pricing. We may change prices with advance notice.

4.2 Payment methods

  • Korean cards / bank transfer — processed by TossPayments
  • International cards — processed by Stripe
  • iOS in-app purchases — Apple App Store
  • Android in-app purchases — Google Play

4.3 Subscriptions and auto-renewal

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel renewal at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle from in-app settings or the corresponding store. For iOS / Android in-app purchases, cancel through the store’s subscription settings.

4.4 Team / seats

The workspace administrator manages the number of seats. Adding seats is prorated and charged immediately; removing seats takes effect from the following billing cycle.

4.5 Free trial

We may offer new Members a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will renew automatically as a paid plan.

5. Refunds & Withdrawal

5.1 Web payments — statutory withdrawal

Under Article 17 of the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Members may request withdrawal within 7 days of payment. Because the Services are digital content, withdrawal is limited where:

  • You have already used the paid service after being clearly informed of and consenting to the loss of the withdrawal right, or
  • More than 7 days have passed since payment.

Requests may be sent to support@sta-suite.com or via the in-app support channel.

5.2 In-app purchases

Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by the respective store’s refund policy:

  • Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Google: Google Play refund policy

5.3 Refund due to Company fault

If we fail to provide the Services as agreed for reasons attributable to us, we will refund the unused portion on a prorated basis.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post or transmit content that violates law, public order, or morality.
  • Misappropriate or unlawfully collect another person’s personal information.
  • Send spam, distribute unauthorized advertisements, phishing, or malware.
  • Interfere with the stable operation of the Services (crawling, DoS, API abuse, etc.).
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, circumvent security, or build unofficial clients.
  • Reproduce or resell the Services in whole or in part without authorization.
  • Infringe the intellectual property, reputation, or credit of the Company or any third party.
  • Post content that promotes child sexual exploitation, terrorism, or suicide.

Violations may result in content removal, suspension of service, account termination, and legal action.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

7.1 Your content

You retain ownership of all rights in the Content you upload. You grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, reproduce, transmit, and display the Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, and improve the Services.

7.2 Our content

The Services and all related interfaces, designs, logos, and software are owned by the Company or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any of it without our prior written consent.

7.3 AI inputs and outputs

Data submitted to AI features (reply drafts, auto-tagging, event extraction, survey generation, etc.) may be transmitted to third-party models such as Google Gemini in order to produce a response. AI outputs may be inaccurate; you remain responsible for whether and how to use them.

8. Service Changes & Suspension

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services for operational or technical reasons. We will give advance notice of scheduled maintenance; emergency maintenance and incidents may be communicated after the fact. If we permanently discontinue the Services, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice in-app and by email, and refund paid Members the unused portion of their subscription.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for outages or data loss caused by force majeure (natural disasters, war, power outages, network failures, third-party cloud incidents, etc.).
  • We are not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, or legality of Content posted or transmitted by Members.
  • For free services, our liability is excluded except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
  • For paid services, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months, except where mandatory consumer-protection law imposes a higher limit.
  • We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages (lost profits, lost data, etc.).

10. Disputes & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes between you and the Company will be subject to the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act, with Seoul Central District Court as the exclusive court of jurisdiction of first instance.

Consumers may also seek mediation through the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms in accordance with applicable law. Material changes or changes that are disadvantageous to Members will be notified at least 30 days before the effective date in-app and by email. If you do not object before the effective date, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

Schedule

These Terms take effect on 2026-05-31.
